In 2022, the REFiT Aging Group (attached to the VHIR and integrated by researchers from Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili), was re-accredited by the AGAUR as a Consolidated SGR. Aida Ribera joined as Coordinator, and an Administrator figure was created. We obtained 3 new fundings, via PI-AES of the ISCiii (IP: A. Ribera), on PROMS/PREMs in home hospitalization, Bcn Ciència Young investigator award (IP: LM. Pérez), on urban environment and healthy aging, and PERIS (IP: S. Baró, IMIM), to scale up the active aging program +AGIL. REFiT published 25 papers. Cristina Udina completed her doctorate in optics, brain function and mobility. As a direct impact on society, the +AGIL program contributed to the public deployment of physiotherapists in primary care and a Geriatric Home Hospitalization model was recognized by the Catalan Health Department. Finally, an innovation line was started and REFiT, with other public and private entities, promoted the BALL aging Living Lab.
