Our group has continued to work mainly on the study of biomarkers that favour the occurrence of epileptic seizures and those associated with poorer cognitive performance. This year, the group has obtained a new competitive grant from the Fundación Eugenio Rodríguez Pascual for the study of biomarkers related to epilepsy in subarachnoid haemorrhage, as well as 2 predoctoral fellowships (Aula VH and Carles Margarit), which will help to further strengthen the different research lines of the team. In 2022, the group published 12 articles in indexed journals and presented its work at national and international congresses (27 communications). In addition, it continues to be one of the groups with the highest recruitment in international epilepsy clinical trials, currently participating in 12 of them.
